Most often, the best advice or scoop I get on anything comes from a girlfriend. I totally love the things in this section and want to pass them on to you. Make sure you check back every now & then for a new group of favorites.

Wine

I’m normally a white wine drinker, but with all the press that red wine is getting for women’s health, I thought I’d branch out. Sangre de Toro is a Spanish red that is just as smooth as it gets. Look for the bull dangling from the neck of the bottle, and at around $6-8 a bottle, you can make a Tuesday night pasta dinner a little more special!

Movies

I am, admittedly, a crazed movie buff. I have MANY favorites, and I always like sharing movies that may have been missed by the masses. The Spitfire Grill was released in 1995, but the message is timeless. It’s a drama about second chances, choices and misconceptions.

Gifts

I went to a friend’s wedding in upstate New York and each guest was given his/her own individual pie as a parting gift. That may sound odd, but it all made sense after you took a bite; that pie was absolutely outstanding!
